This comfortable, recently built holiday house is set in a nice and quiet, but not isolated spot in the southern Dordogne. It is owned by a Dutch family, who redecorated it completely. To enlarge the holiday feeling they added a beautiful enclosed swimming pool with summer kitchen in the large shady garden next to the house.
Beaumont-du-Périgord is located east of Bergerac, which is well known for its lovely wine, and north of Villeréal and Monflanquin, two splendid medieval bastide towns. All the famous sites of the Dordogne region as well as the Lot-et-Garonne like the castles, medieval villages and caves can be visited from this location. But don’t forget to spend a day canoeing on the river Dordogne, a pleasure for the whole family.
