This typical house of the Dordogne, called Périgourdine, has just been completely renovated while keeping the old details at view, like beams, stone walls and very large fireplace, which are very charming and comfortable on the inside. On the outside in a large garden with a lot of green has been created under the cover of an old barn a lovely terrace with barbecue.
Campsegret is located north of the town of Bergerac, well known for the wine. The region has lots of interesting things to offer: castles, medieval villages and caves for example. If you go a little further south there are the new medieval villages called bastides: Villeréal, Castillones, Issigeac and Monflanquin. But don’t forget to spend a day canoeing on the river Dordogne.
